In November 2024, I had a stroke. Half my body stopped working. What followed was a brief dark period — I just didn't feel right in my mind. But I'm a positive person, and I made a decision pretty quickly: this is just another thing. We can get past this.
My neurologist told me recovery was possible. That was all I needed to hear. I started researching everything — recovery protocols, therapies, nutrition — anything with evidence behind it.
What I Discovered
The recovery hospital was serving processed food and traditional soft drinks — things that were working against what my body needed. I swapped all of that out for whole foods and superfoods that actually supported my brain and nervous system.
I pushed my physical therapy further than recommended. I prioritized real, deep sleep. I explored red light therapy, vibrotherapy, and sound therapy — anything that could help my nervous system down-regulate so my body could actually heal.
I progressed faster than the other patients around me. My doctors noticed. And I knew it wasn't luck — it was the approach. Good nutrition, deep rest, and giving my nervous system the right tools to come back down from constant alarm.
Why Brain Health Spa Exists
Brain Health Spa isn't a replacement for your doctor — it's a supplement to the traditional medical path. Think of it like taking your vitamins. You follow your doctor's plan, and you add tools that support your body's ability to rest, recover, and heal.
I built this space because the tools that helped me — sound therapy, red light, vibrotherapy, targeted nutrition — aren't available together in most places. I wanted to put them all under one roof, with someone who understands what you're going through.
Whether you're recovering from a health event or you're just someone who's been running on stress for too long — this place is for you. We all deserve a space to come back down.
